DISCO'S REVENGE @ Crown & Harp every 3rd Saturday

After our spring shenanigans hosting Hunee and RESIDENT ADVISOR for the ace HORIZONS event (PICS) we're more than happy to announce a new monthly at a Dallas institution, The Crown & Harp starting Saturday May, 17th.

Formally known as "The Cavern", the venue has welcomed a incredibly eclectic diverse set of internationally acclaimed dj's and artists ranging from Sadar Bahar, JT Donaldson, Kiki, Egyptian Lover, TX Connect, Boo Williams, DJ Spinderella, Derrick Carter, Alland Ballo, Alan King,  Demarkus Lewis, J. Phlip, and Brett Johnson to name a few.

Taking place EVERY 3RD SATURDAY, our new monthly features our very special brand of disco debauchary  specifically geared for the dance floor in mind.  We are also stoked to have 2 exciting new residents aboard for the ride.

RICK SIMPSON is one of Dallas' best kept secret, keeping a relatively low profile but known as a deadly assassin on the decks with his unique blend of house, disco, techno & electro.  A cult figure in the shadowy world of underground techno, his release on boutique label Down Low Music  has been a favorite among techno heads worldwide for over a decade. Recording under his "R9" moniker, Rick's music has been featured in a VICE Magazine commissioned mixtape  that also got a review in XLR8R Magazine.

Brandon Ayala aka NEKSTONE is a long time turntable connoisseur, whose passion for music spans everything from hip hop to deep house and everything in between.  As a promoter his party, "The Get Right" was responsible for bringing dj's such as DJ Cocoe(Ubiquity Records) and J-Rocc(Stones Throw Records) to Dallas. Besides being a deck technician, Brandon is bringing a brand new approach to street style to the city of Dallas with his recently opened mens wear shop in Deep Ellum,  Epocha.

Along with yours truly, MR DAISHIKI JONES, Saturday nights will never be the same.

Our mission, as always, is to bring to the dance floor, like minded people who crave a bit of spice, excitement and a escape from the mundane in their musical and social settings

Our goal is to bring all our disco freaks under one roof for ONE purpose --- to dance our asses off.
