DISCO'S REVENGE presents our NEW MONTHLY starting June 9th. @ Sandaga 813

Well,Well Well.  We've taken some time off since our Jack to The Future party(which was a BLAST!!!) trying to secure a space with a decent sound system plus ample space to dance and we are proud to announce that DISCO'S REVENGE will be held every 2nd Saturday beginning June 9th at Sandaga 813 with resident dj's Israel Marcano and Mr. Daishiki Jones.

The location (813 Exposition Ave.) is "hallowed ground" in local underground music lore.  Beginning life in the early '90's as S.O.A., the venue played host to classic sets from (then) unknown dj's such as Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson, Spencer Kincy(Gemini), Chez Damier, Pal Joey and a host of others.  S.O.A.(and Exposition Ave.) was also where the burgeoning local "rave" scene began to take root and helped to launch the careers of many Dallas dj's / producers / promoters...as a matter of fact, S.O.A. was the first venue that Mr.Daishiki Jones(Alvin Booth)  deejayed when he moved to Texas...link

The next incarnation was known as Minc, and became a must stop for regional, national and international artists form many years bringing a creme de la creme of talent to Dallas dancefloors. Guests have included Theo Parrish, Inland Knights, Derrick May, Kaskade, DJ Pierre, Louie Vega, Steve "Silk" Hurley, Tim Sweeney, Karizma, DJ Disciple, Ron Trent, J.T. Donaldson,  Metro Area, Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, Marshall Jefferson, Daz-I-Kue, Roy Davis Jr., Brett Johnson,  Lady D, Egyptian Lover, Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Kevin Yost, Demarkus Lewis, Julius Papp, DJ Colette and dozens of others.

So, we are proud to carry on the legacy of 813 Exposition with our little shindig, DISCO'S REVENGE and will do our best to bring you the best underground dance music, new & old, from around the globe.  We've been championing underground House Music for almost three years and we can't wait to begin this new chapter of our lives.

So be on the lookout for some very special and wonderful things to happen...
